  General Department of Civil Aviation at the Government of RA                   

“Air Training Centre” CJSC

 

 


Air Training Centre was founded in 1993 on the base of Training Centre under the Flying Squadron. In the years of heroic Karabakh War the Centre carried out the special order of Ministry of Defence - the school trained 39 pilots and 44 aviatechnicians.

In the period of 1994-97 for the first time in the Republic of Armenia the Centre gave the first graduates-pilots for the needs and requirements of RA.


The Centre is dealing with different kinds of training:

  1. Private Pilots (PPL)
  2. Commercial Pilots (CPL)
  3. A-319, A-320 cabin attendants
  4. Air traffic controllers
  5. Aviation Security Personnel
  6. Check-in personnel
  7. Airticket agents
  8. English for all aviation specialists

According to the Business Plan of 2007 approved by the General Department of Civil Aviation Air Training Centre is again the first to prepare private pilots by light plane named “Diamond”.

   

The training process is provided with all modern audio and video aids and computers.

Every person over 20 is invited to learn at the Air Training Centre.

Invites to Study


Air Training Centre is licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of the RA (License N 208) and is certified by the General Department of Civil aviation of RA to perform the following educational activity on Vocational Education Base and to prepare:


- Air Transportation Managers

- Air Traffic Controllers  (ATC)

-  Commercial Pilots (Private Pilots)

-  Aircraft Maintenance Technicians



Commercial Pilots (CPL)

 The course duration is 3 years. Flight training is performed on“Diamond-40” and “Diamond-42” aircraft.

The applicants must pass medical examination and have the corresponding statement about their health condition (from “Aviamed”  CJSC) before entry examinations (mathematics and English language).

 

Initial course for Cabin Attendants on A-319, and A-320 types of aircraft.

The course duration is 3 months and it is performed in compliance with “Armavia” aviacompany requirements and by its request.

 


Air Traffic Control

Qualification is - ATC Controllers.

The course duration is 2 years and 6 months.


 

Air Transportation Management

Qualificationis - Air Transportation Managers.

The course duration is 2 years and 6 months.

 

 

Aircraft Maintenance

Qualification is – an aviatechnicians.

The course duration is 3 years.
