AIRCRAFT OPERATORS OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA

armenian airport 13 airlines in the Republic of Armenia have received Air Operator Certificates  for flight operations and currently perform scheduled as well as non-scheduled flights.

Air Operator Certificate (AOC) is a document, which authorizes the company as an aircraft operator.

The AOC holder  also   gets an Air Carrier Certificate, which provides the details of the permitted activities, including: type of aircraft, type of air services (passenger, cargo, mail, combined), and the regions of implementing air transport services.

The  Air Operator  Certificates to the following airlines  are issued by  the General Department of Civil Aviation at the Government of the Republic of Armenia:

It is the third time that <<Armavia>> has successfully passed IATA audit for IOSA certificating, evidencing of fully compliance with international safety approvals.
The company actively develops the route network, constantly opening new destinations and flights. Armavia is planning to open new flights to the USA, it is considered possibility of the beginning of flights to Canada. Active growth of number of through flights via Yerevan is planned. “Zvartnots” International Airport is going to be a hub connecting Europe with the Middle East. <<Armavia>> consistently follows a policy of acquisition of new aircraft. At the present time Armavia’s fleet consists of the following aircraft: Airbus, CRJ, Boeing and a new generation Russian Sukhoi Superjet aircraft.
