 One more achievement. Zvartnots airport's new passenger terminal is opening
In unlikely seeming time the building of the constraction of the new passenger terminal of Zvartnots airport in Erevan was finished. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan attended the opening ceremony of the new passenger terminal . According to the leaders of the airport the airport's arrival and departure halls are the best in the region with their new technical and passenger service quality.

Rapid development of aviation in Armenia
 September 30 is the Civil Aviation Day in Armenia, because 77 years ago the firs flight Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan has been conducted on this day. A day before Mr. Sahak Hakobyan, the Head of Staff of the GDCA and Mr. Grigor Nazaryan, the Advisor to the Director General of Civil Aviation have visited “Novosti” press club. They have presented the recent state of civil aviation in Armenia.

New chance for future pilots
 A press-conference has been held today at the “Novosti” international press club, in which the head of Flight Safety Inspection department Mr. Serob Karapetyan and the director of “Aviation training Centre” Mrs. Frida Muradyan have participated.

The construction works of new terminal of the “Zvartnots” airport are in progress
 This terminal constructing within the public zone occupies an area of 34.000 m2. On this stage the concessionaire has envisaged an investigation of 160 millions USD. It is provided that after completion of construction works public zones and check-in areas will be close to arrival and departure halls.

Passenger flow dynamics
Data summary for the first 4 months of 2010 show, that passenger flow in Armenia has grown. During first 4 months of this year 137283 passengers have departed from the Yerevan “Zvartnots” airport, and arrivals are 116808.

The delegation of Civil Aviation Department of the Republic of Belarus has been in Yerevan on 25-26 February, 2010. The delegation has been led by Vadim Melnik, the Director of Aviation Department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus. A meeting has been held in Yerevan with the delegation of the General Department of Civil Aviation at the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the delegation of Civil Aviation Department of the Republic of Belarus.
