The word “aviation” comes from the latin word “avis” , which means bird. A human has dreamt of flying since his survival . In different periods there appeared more keen-witted men ,who created various instruments and devices and tried to fly. From the second half of the 19^th century they began to be engaged in aerostatics more professionally. 20^th century brought problems to humanity, which existed before that as a dream or a result of imagination. The air transport became state priorities of the progressive countries. The dynamic tempo of the life resulted in the primarity of the air transport and today the man recieved an opportunity to solve time saving problem with sufficient urgency through the civil aviation. Today in the Republic of Armenia is being celebrated The civil aviation`s day.

Connected with the day   there took place meeting of another format in the new terminal of <Zvartnots> airport by the General director of GDCA. The presents got aquainted with the working departments of the terminal, took a walk in the building each one performing his professional duties. Connected with the day some higly merited persons which had their investment in the sphere were encouraged by Artyom Movsesyan- the director of GDCA. Artyom Movsesyan also congratulated all the workers of the aviation.
